I was honored to be one of the designers of the Children's Memory Garden in Nashville, TN. The garden is dedicated to children who lost their lives to violence.

The Garden was designed in collaboration with victim advocates, the landscape architecture firm of Nelson Byrd Woltz and Linnaea Tillett Lighting Design Associates.

Light supports the delicate symbolism of the site. Part of the design includes shimmering points of light in the pavement surrounding the young willow tree. I designed the layout of the hundred points of light using a geometric pattern found in the design of some sacred spaces, the Vesica Pisces.
